Here Edurisk gives room to you all, and to the world-wide-web, displaying pictures, videos and .ppt presentations chosen among those made available by social networks members through Flickr (for pictures), YouTube (for videos) and Slideshare (for presentations).
How does it work? It's all a matter of keywords. All socila networks contributions tagged with the keywords "earthquake", "eruption", "volcano", "seismic hazard", "volcanic hazard" will be automatically forwarded to edYOUrisk. The EDURISK team will select the most interesting and publish them in this page.
In other words, you won't find there the results of EDURISK activities (whose dedicated space is the edubox), but an open window on the variegated community of people and associations interested in earthquakes, volcanoes and everything related with these natural phenomena.
To became an edYOUrisk contributor, you must be a registered user of any of the above networks (registration is free) and you must remember to use one or more of the requested tags.
EDURISK is also on Facebook and Twitter, where you can become a "fan" or a "follower" and receive news updates or partecipate sharing comments.
Finally EDURISK is on Anobii, the most known social network dedicated to books. In its bookshelf EDURISK collect books concerning earthquakes, with a special focus on the earthquake occurred in Abruzzo in 2009.
"vibrazioni - voci e storie dall'abruzzo che ha tremato" is an audioblog concerning Abruzzo earthquake, created within EDURISK project by students living in Aquila. Students of "Dante Alighieri" middle school collect interviews and tell their experience of the earthquake.
